On June 8, Dr. Teresa Vicente Gimenez will visit the Embassy of the North Sea in Amsterdam. Teresa Vicente is one of the initiators of the ILP (Popular Legislative Initiative) Mar Menor, a political campaign advocating legal personhood for the highly polluted Spanish lagoon Mar Menor. Thanks to more than 500,000 signatures, a law is currently being prepared in the Spanish parliament. It is unique in Europe that a natural entity will be recognized as a legal entity.
We would like to invite you to a meeting on Wednesday 8 June 2022 in Arcam Amsterdam for a talk by Teresa Vicente Giménez about the legal developments to acknowledge rights to the Spanish lagoon. After her presentation there is time for questions and to exchange experiences.
