On 11, 12 and 13 July 2019, the event ‘Listening to the sea’ was held at De Pier, Scheveningen beach, Stroom Den Haag, Het Nutshuis, Humanity House and the Mauritshuis. Over this three-day period, we took the opportunity to listen to, to imagine, to smell, to feel and to taste the political voice of the sea and the life in the sea together with: Frank Bloem, Valerie van Leersum, Carmen Schabraqc, Ruben Jacobs, Ester Heiman, Jesper Buursink, Laura Burgers, Jan van de Venis, Godzilla, Marleen Feldbrugge, Arne Hendriks, Madeleine Maatstap, Daphina Misiedjan, Carlijn Kingma, Stef Veldhuis and Tsead Bruinja.
