Anne van Leeuwen (1987) works on a fundamental integration of nature and culture. She studied Art History at the University of Amsterdam, Philosophy of Art at the University of Kent, Cultural Analysis at the University of Amsterdam and a year of Biology at the University of Antwerp. From 2013 she worked at ARTIS: first as curator of the new Groote Museum and later as project coordinator education. She has been committed to the Embassy of the North Sea since mid-2018 and from January 2019 she is responsible for research into and representation of the relationships between people and non-humans in and around the North Sea.
