Dr. Carolijn Terwindt (1979) is a lawyer, cultural anthropologist, author, and artist who joined the Embassy of the North Sea in 2021 to explore the possibility of creating a European network to strengthen the cultural transformation towards a real participation of nonhumans in politics. After working and living abroad for 15 years (mostly in New York and Berlin), she returned to the Netherlands in 2020 and now works with the Clean Clothes Campaign and is member of the Comité 50 Jaar Ruigoord to put into practice a more ecological and community oriented way of living. She is fluent in German, English, Spanish and Dutch.
