Yi-Fei Chen is a social designer and art director from Taiwan, who currently lives and works in The Netherlands. She finished her Master’s degree in Social Design at the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2016. She describes herself as ‘a cultural hacker and an alternative explorer’.
In 2020 she worked with Sheng Wen Lo on the interactive spatial installation F/EEL, a sensory-based escape room where participants could experience the challenges that eels encounter on their migration pathway. This project aimed to provoke participants to think beyond themselves and be aware of other non-human creatures.
