Trailer Confluence of European Water Bodies — Now released!

While we are busy preparing for the second edition of our Confluence of European Water Bodies, we are proud to present the trailer of the Confluence in September 2023. At the salt water lagoon the Mar Menor in Spain, the first European water body to be recognized as a legal entity in 2022, water bodies from all over Europe gathered for a cross-cultural exchange on the representation of ecosystems in the cultural, political and legal European domain.

Next to the Embassy of the North Sea, TBA 21/ Ocean Space and the ILP Mar Menor participants in the Confluence are: Akerselva (NO), Drina (SRB), Klarälven (SE), Loire (FR), Mar Menor (ES), Mediterranean Sea, Moraca and Tara rivers (ME), Pek (SRB), Rhône (CH), Senne (BE), Spree (DE), Tejo (PRT), Venice Lagoon (IT) and Vistula (PL) and Reuss (CH).
